Hi Norbert,
it seems you usually take care of the Linux kernel to lenny-backports
and we do appreciate this. We are wondering if there was some kind of
ETA for 2.6.32-30 to be backported. Any rough guess?
(Rationale: we maintain a Lenny-based Debian Live system (namely:
T(A)ILS [0]) that uses the kernel from bpo for better hardware
support; we have an emergency point-release almost ready to be
published in order to fix a serious security issue (remote code
execution) in Tor. Rolling a release out needs quite some energy, and
forces our users to upgrade, so we'd rather not do it twice in a short
period of time => we'd rather ship a point-release that fixes the Tor
security bug and the ~16 CVE fixed by 2.6.32-30 at the same time.)
