I think the 2nd proposal is a bad idea. I tried to open some complicated
ODT documents with abiwork and it didn't worked (depending on the cases,
it crashed or displayed wrong stuff). I fear it would be the same with
DOC and DOCX. In addition, I think quite a lot of people know how to do
what tehy want with openoffice.
