Mercoledì 8 dicembre la
445° ora in silenzio per la pace sui gradini del palazzo
ducale di Genova avrà un carattere particolare
Nel trentesimo anniversario della morte di John Lennon
chiunque lo desideri potrà unirsi a noi alle ore 17.30
precise per cantare le sue canzoni più rappresentative del
suo impegno pacifista: Power To The People, Give Peace a
Chance, Imagine e Happy Xmas.
Dirigerà il maestro Gianni Martini e ci accompagneranno
quindici chitarristi della scuola Musicline
Hanno aderito Emergency, ANPI, ARCI, Amnesty International
gruppo 7 e Legambiente Genova.
Ha patrocinato e contribuito alla realizzazione
dell'iniziativa il Comune di Genova
Incollo il volantino che verrà distribuito ed i testi delle
canzoni.

ORA IN
SILENZIO PER LA PACE: CHI SIAMO E PERCHE' SIAMO IN PIAZZA
OGNI MERCOLEDI' DA DIECI ANNI
Siamo un gruppo di uomini e donne
accomunati dal rifiuto della guerra, della violenza e dell’ingiustizia.
Nel settembre 2001, quando ci
fu l’attentato alle torri gemelle e gli USA attaccarono
l’Afghanistan con il pretesto della caccia a Bin Laden,
cercammo un modo per esprimere il nostro sgomento
e la nostra indignazione.
Decidemmo di adottare l “ora in silenzio”,
una modalità di manifestazione già attuata diverse volte
nella storia: per esempio dalle suffragiste statunitensi e
dalle donne in nero di Gerusalemme.
Il palazzo ducale di Genova,
davanti al quale da allora ci ritroviamo ogni mercoledì
dalle 18 alle 19 è un luogo simbolico, non solo per la
nostra città. E’ qui che si è svolto il G8 del 2001,
l’incontro dagli otto pre-potenti che si arrogano il diritto
di decidere le sorti del pianeta; incontro che insieme a
migliaia di altri/e avevamo allora contribuito a
contestare.° Quando cominciammo, non pensavamo che saremmo
rimasti/e in piazza, una volta a settimana, per nove anni; e
che saremmo giunti a distribuire oltre duecentomila
volantini.
L‘ “ora in silenzio”di
oggi, mercoledì 8 dicembre 2010, è la quattrocentoquarantacinquesima.
Non potevamo
certo interrompere la nostra protesta quando l’Italia fu
direttamente coinvolta nelle operazioni militari in
Afghanistan; quando gli USA aggredirono anche l’Iraq con il
pretesto della ricerca delle inesistenti “armi
di distruzione di massa; quando soldati italiani furono
direttamente e pesantemente coinvolti anche in quella guerra
Per questo continuerai a
trovarci ogni mercoledì , dalle 18 alle 19, sui gradini del
palazzo
ducale di Genova
 - Per una
politica internazionale di giustizia e di pace, che
impedisca che il 20% degli abitanti del pianeta si accaparri
l’80% delle risorse, come accade oggi
 - Per la riconversione nel civile dell’industria
bellica
 - Perché
cessi immediatamente l’assurdità dei tagli alle spese
sociali mentre l’Italia si permette da quasi dieci anni il ”
lusso” di una guerra che è già costata oltre 2,5 miliardi di
euro
 -Per
ricordare ai passanti che la guerra in Afghanistan è basata sulla menzogna, perché
giustificata con il pretesto della ricerca di Bin Laden;
inutile, perché non potrà mai risolvere il problema del
terrorismo; illegale, perché vietata dalla Costituzione;
criminale perché moltiplica i lutti ed i desideri di
vendetta
 - Per il
ripristino della legalità costituzionale sancita
nell’art.11 e violata dall’entrata in guerra dell’Italia.
Per il ritiro dei soldati italiani da tutti i teatri di
guerra.
