come si era annunciato in questo seminario

abbiamo aperto le due liste di discussione che ci serviranno, o
servirebbero, per sviluppare due nuove versioni di
http://inkscapegallery.net
http://gimpgallery.net
Questi due progetti nacquero per offrire funzionalità alle comunità
dei software liberi di grafica vettoriale e raster, e anche come
palestra e sfida nei confronti di un CMS che è stato utilizzato oltre
le sue basiche funzionalità. Il tutto fatto da NON sviluppatori php,
ma solo lato configurazione e piccolissimi tweak.
Ora che è disponibile una versione nuova del CMS Drupal, che alcune
soluzioni si sono rivelate un po' accrocchiate, e che si è raggiunta
una consapevolezza progettuale maggiore, vorremo pulirne la logica, e
se necessario reimplementare una versione nuova.
Per questo e anche perché ci piacerebbe assumessero il senso di
prodotti di un gruppo di persone e non di due sole teste, lanciamo
questa call for participation a tutti coloro che vorranno aiutarci.
Ci piacerebbe giocare anche con oggetti come OpenSocial e sfruttare
una serie di canali di diffusione rappresentati *anche* da i social
networks tanto vituperati in questa lista.

as we annouced in this talk

we opened a couple of mailing list that will be helpful, or would be,
to develop two new version of
http://inkscapegallery.net
http://gimpgallery.net
These two projects were born either to offer a new chance for free
graphic software communities (raster and vector ones) and as a
playground and challenge towards Drupal CMS that is being brought
beyond his basic functionalities. All this work has been done by NON
php developer, just with some configuration and some small tweaks.
Now that we have a new Drupal version, and that some of the solutions
we found revelead themselves like too heavy and too stupid, and that
we reached a different awareness about build projects, we'd like to
clean up the logic, and if necessary to develop two brand new versions.
For these reasons, and also because we'd like to get those two project
a little be more collective that now, we're launching this call for
participation towards everybody who wants to help.
We'd like to play around with OpenSocial and exploit a bit all those
social media channel, even the ones that here are not properly
welcome :)
