Claudio Ranieri was born in Bari, January 26, 1981
After schools was happy to get in the
College of Fine Arts in Bari, where he graduated in
2006 with full marks, specializing mainly in
drawing from life and engraving techniques.
Then he did a Master in 3d animation in Barcelona at the
university
Pompeu Fabra. His formal research takes from the basics
example of the masters of 600 Italian, Spanish and
northern Europe in the head at all Rembrandt, the great
Impressionist Degas and Lautrec, the engravers
German expressionism and Kathe Kollowitz, Francis Bacon,
as well as the Italian masters Casorati, Delitala,
Vespignani
Includes cartoonists Will Eisner, Crumb, the group
Cannibal
Thomas Ott, Corona, Gianni Pacinotti. Great Reader of
Nietzsche, Poe, Baudler, Kafka, Celine, Artaud, of
youth written by Carmelo Bene, comics and underground
texts of foreign and italian punkrock , its
research theme linked to the
distorted and destroyed language , surrealism, the comic
avoiding funny, the satire to the power
and the Socialist putrefaction.
Claudio has worked for years and works in the world of
comics
and graphics, with the pseudonym
Losghino and Claudio Losghi for various "fanzine" including
more and Pillo
he has produced between 2001 and 2007
animations with different techniques from stop motion
to 3D. From 2005 to 2007 wrote in an informal tone
blog "I'm making monsters for my friends" (
