The School of Architecture, Planning & Landscape is seeking to appoint
a Research Associate to work on SOCIAL POLIS: Social Platform on
Cities and Social Cohesion, a Co-ordination and Support Action funded
under the European Union Framework Programme 7 with multiple European
partners for which Professor Frank Moulaert is Co-ordinator. The tasks
will include: working with academic staff on reviewing current
research and knowledge and producing research reports; preparating
frameworks for research and data collection by research partners;
maintaining contacts and orgainising meetings with research partners
and consultees; coordinating the SOCIAL POLIS content of the GURU
website. You should have significant experience of research in urban
planning, social exclusion and inclusion and good orgaisational skills.
This is a fixed-term appointment for 24 months
