Subject: [Badgirlz-list] [fwd]Komikaze wall zin/puzzle

www.jedinstvo.hr/komikaze

Komikaze is preparing to climb the walls of the
Autonomous Cultural
Centre
Metelkova mesto in Ljubljana! As one of the yearly
Urban Art
Interventions
in the space, Komikaze will transform and harden, take
the shape of
wood
and
paint, and subject itself to the sticky fingers of
Metelkovas demanding
visitors. The wall zin/puzzle will be a big wooden
version of the small
time
consuming game with a picture cut up in fifteen little
squares and one
empty
space that allows the pieces to be pushed around.
Usually the aim of
the
game is to put the squares back in the right order to
show off the
original
picture. But the Komikaze puzzle will be an ever
changing comic, where
all
the panels can take all possible positions, and so
giving the player
6568408355712890625 different combinations...

All Komikaze artists, friends and lovers are welcome
to contribute
their
panel to the wall zin/puzzle. To make the story
interesting, there are
a
few
rules to stick to when drawing:

# The format is 25cm * 25 cm.
# The colour is black and white.
# Be aware that a handle will be placed in the exact
center (a circle
about
1cm diametre), so don't put anything too important
there.
# The panel can contain anything, but to bind the
context together it
should
include two quotes - a question and an answer. The
answer is responding
to
a
question in the previous panel, the question is asking
forward to the
next
panel. Hopefully this will create an intertextual
comic where all
panels
are
linked to each other through the dialogue. This is a
bit foggy though,
we'll
see how it works...
# The deadline is 31st of august.
# Send you contribution to Komikaze
(komikaze5001@???) and Anna
Ehrlemark ( anna_ehrlemark@???)

Yours, Komizzle
