"Per le strade di Recife" di Adriano Zecca, Brasile, 2002
Nel nord est del Brasile, Recife è una delle città più violente e più
pericolose, dove gli squilibri sociali sono più marcati. A subire le
gravi
conseguenze di queste condizioni di miseria e degrado sono soprattutto i
bambini. Minori poveri, privi di ogni sostentamento, vivono nell'inferno
delle favelas e nell'allucinato mondo delle strade, in una società
che li
emargina e li rifiuta. E addirittura li uccide.
Ne muoiono 900 in un anno, quasi due al giorno. Una strage degli
innocenti.
Per sopravvivere questi ragazzi si adattano a fare di tutto: soprattutto
lavare i vetri delle automobili, raccogliere bottiglie, cartoni da
imballaggio e fare incetta di frutta e verdura buttati via nel mercato
generale della citta'. L'organizzazione di volontariato Penochao, ha
varato
da anni un progetto educativo che, attraverso la danza e la musica,
aiuta e
sostiene i meninos da rua.
Un progetto che ha dato un po' di gioia, un po' di felicità, un po' di
speranza.
"Sale del silenzio" di Adriano Zecca, Cambogia, 2002
Sulla costa della Cambogia, vicino alla città di Kampot, si stendono
immense saline, dove per cinque mesi all'anno lavora un esercito di
"forzati", che comprende anche 900 fra bambini e ragazzi. Il
paesaggio della regione, punteggiato da infiniti mucchietti bianchi,
affascina; ma le condizioni di vita nelle saline sono durissime: il
caldo è soffocante, il sale piaga la pelle e per trasportare il
prodotto dalle vasche ai depositi i bambini usano cesti pesantissimi,
fino a 30 chili l'uno. Il documentario si dipana seguendo la giornata
di due famiglie e di due donne: Jaem, un'adolescente che sogna di
uscire dalle saline per studiare danza, e Sith, una madre di famiglia
che accetta con rassegnazione la sua vita, sapendo che da Kampot non
uscirà mai, perché ha troppe bocche da sfamare. Il titolo del
documentario echeggia volutamente il celebre "Urla del silenzio", il
film che negli Anni '70 denunciò il genocidio messo in atto in
Cambogia dal regime di Pol Pot. Oggi quel regime non c'è più, Pol Pot
è morto; ma a Kampot la "nuova Cambogia" continua ad assomigliare a
un lager, anche se nessuno ne parla più, come se su quel Paese
lontano, dal passato ora glorioso e ora tragico, fosse scattata una
sorta di congiura del silenzio.

The PUTAN CLUB is a resistance unit, distinguished by a way of
action near
to the very first European partisans conspiracies during the last
world-war
(strength actions in diverse places) and résistants in Iraq,
Afghanistan &
Ceceny.
The resistance is organised with the archaical and immediate ways of our
century : red chalk & video, voices & electrical rumours, pencils,
action-drawing and ultra-spitted graphic, military tank & counted
words, as
to say from the fresco painting to the most daring conceptualism, from
avant-rock to modern contemporary music to the most brutal techno/house,
from the mouth kiss to the kick in the ass, and so on
This is this synergy which give strength & power to the resistance:
music +
plastic art + writing. So the places of action are plural: from the
Paris
art-gallery to the Bosnian squat, from the german museum to a
Japanese club,
from a Belgian theatre to catalan bars.
The PUTAN CLUB is claiming a bakuninian/situationist action of agit-
prop.

François R. Cambuzat French, born in Viet Nam, from "pieds-noirs"
parents.
Since birth, François R. Cambuzat has never lived more than four
years in
the same place. Saïgon, Paris, London, New York, Berlin, Amsterdam,
Tunis,
etc. His touring life has led him from Vilna to Cadiz, as from
Tbilisi to
Athens and further. He has been invited to many great festivals such as
Dokumenta in Kassel, and so, geographically as well as artistically,
François R. Cambuzat has explored many music genres from punk to
contemporary classical music, from jazz to maghreb's music, as his
discography testifies. He has created major projects as famous as the
Kim
Squad, Il Gran Teatro Amaro and LEnfance Rouge.
He is now living between Paris, Lecce and Tunis. (

Paolo G. Bonfiglio was born on May the 20 1972 in the Langhe, birth-
land of
the partisan resistance described by the writer Beppe Fenoglio. Hes
drawing
and painting since ever. He has been working as a scenery maker in many
laboratories and theatres. He has been exhibiting drawings, paintings
and
animation films in Bosnia, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Holland,
Serbia,
Slovenia, Spain. In 2005, Paolo G. Bonfiglio took part of the Mick
Harris
(Napalm Death, Scorn, ) European tour, for whom he achieved the art-
movie
Fragments. He has been living in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Genoa,
Barcelona,
Turin. Hes living & working in the Langhe.

Panic Roots were born in 1999. The original line-up is: Dave/drums,
Alvise/bass, Iacopo and Mattia/guitars. The most relevant musical
influences
are Rancid and other Hellcat Records bands. Before getting in Kob
Records,
Panic Roots have recorded 2 albums and 3 eps for Nerv Records, a d.i.y.
label created by the Panic Roots. There are many art activities
related to
Panic Roots: Alvise plays bass also with Los Fastidios since 2004,
Iacopo
has been working with director Stefano Bertelli in shooting independent
music-videos, Dave sings and plays guitar in a band called Bad Taste and
Mattia draws everything you can see about Panic Roots (website and
playbills). The new album "Third Impact" comes out after six years
playing
punk rock in the cellar, in the squats and in the small-town pubs.
More than
forty minutes of ska, punk rock and hardcore. Lyrics take care to
politics
and social troubles.
