*GLI IMPOSSIBILI
Il 20 ottobre esce il nuovo disco de "GLI IMPOSSIBILI", la
presentazione si
terrà in occasione della festa a favore della lotta zapatista al
Leonkavallo
di Milano Sabato 22 Ottobre 2005, Attivi dal 1994 i Milanesi "GLI
IMPOSSIBILI" sono al pari de Punkreas e dei Derozer da considerarsi band
essenziale e protagonista della seconda generazione Punk Rock
nazionale. Il
trio composto da Araya (voce e chitarra), Ale (basso elettrico e cori) e
Davide (batteria) è alimentato da una grandissima passione per i
Ramones e
questo si apprezza anche in questo loro quarto album. Alle loro ormai
classiche linee melodiche e al suono aggressivo di Araya, si
affiancano i
testi più impegnati e maturi del loro repertorio. Registrato al
Massive Art
Studio di Milano, questo "Ve le suoniamo ancora" contiene quindici
brani,
tutti rigorosamente di 2 minuti e mezzo come nella migliore
tradizione punk
rock. Ai tredici brani inediti si aggiungono inoltra una nuova
edizione di
"La mia bicicletta" ripescata dal loro primo fortunato demotape e la
cover
di Vasco Rossi "Ti taglio la gola", rivisitata in chiave
"Impossibili". Alla
registrazione hanno partecipato in veste di special guest alcuni
Punkreas
come "Mastino" (batterista dei primi tempi) che impugna le bacchette in
cinque brani, Cippa e Paletta, rispettivamente voce e bassista
storici della
band che si cimentano come coristi nel brano "Kriminali". La
produzione di
questo nuovo lavoro è stata affidata alla Derotten Records. L'uscita
dell'album
sarà accompagnato da una tournee che vedrà la band milanese esibirsi
lungo
tutto lo stivale.

*THE CROOKS
The Crooks play a raw punk rock'n'roll with a personal sound that
leads you
immediately to those atmospheres known as NY '77 scene. It is with this
attitude that, back in 1997, Fab (vocals, gtr) formed the band as a
trio and
soon composed some original songs. In two years the band became a good
attraction for young punkers, playing all around Italy alone or with
other
groups also from different countries, like Libertine (USA) or
Revolvers (D)
for example. In 1999 an independent label named "Tre Accordi Records" (3
Chords Rec.!), decided to sign the Crooks and produced their debut 7"
titled
"You make me feel so sick": two songs with a crude vintage sound, but
with a
fresh and modern approach, tipical of the band's style. In 2000 a second
guitar player joined the band adding more power and dynamic to the
sound of
the Crooks, that combined their wild attitude with original melodies,
confirming their potential to their label. The Crooks featured that
year in
some compilations, also with a Ramones cover in a tribute cd edited
by the
Italian punk magazine "Metallic KO". In the winter of 2001 "Tre Accordi
Records" proposed a new record deal to the Crooks in order to produce
a full
length cd, titled "Speed kills", that was then realized in June 2002
only
for the Italian market, and gave the band the chance to play more
concerts
sharing the stage with bigger bands, like The Glucifer. After a four
tracks
E.P. and two more tribute compilation, to J. Thunders and N.Y. Dolls, on
Strap-ons records, the band entered in the studio to record their second
album, shamelessly titled "Nothing to lose" and more rock oriented,
always
for Tre Accordi Records, which was completed in September 2003 and
published
in March 2004, after a good air play by local radio stations.
