Il Commissario europeo per i Trasporti, Jacques Barato, è intervenuto
alla giornata conclusiva della Conferenza internazionale "Velo-City"
che si è svolta a Dublino dal 31 maggio al 3 giugno.
Secondo il Commissario europeo Jacques Barrot, il "Libro bianco" sui
Trasporti della Commissione europea ha dato chiare indicazioni a
favore di forme di trasporto sostenibili per decongestionare le città
e renderle più vivibili. La bicicletta deve avere sempre più un ruolo
di maggior rilievo...

New York has a lot of abandoned bicycles. I don't know why. Do people
forget the combinations or keys to their locks? Do they forget they
had a bike? Most of the bikes pictured here are pretty cheap
bikes. Some of the bikes appear to have been abandoned long
ago. Consider this ever-growing photo album a way to remember those

German court crushes hopes of nude cyclists
A German court quashed the hopes of a group of naturists who wanted to
cycle along the Rhine river wearing nothing more than a smile.
Cycling in the nude, the Karlsruhe court ruled, is "highly
inconvenient".
The group of 12 naturists were planning to cycle along the Rhine in
the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg on Saturday as part of what they were
dubbing "World Nude Cycling Day".
The court ....said that cycling in the nude contravened the unwritten
rules of public decency.
