Today (April 20) .. We went shopping in Damascus this morning. After lunch
we rode bicycles about 30 km to end the day at a Bedouin camp. This
consists of several tents with carpet-lined floors. Nearby is a very old
ruin.. During the bike ride, spectators lined the road most of the way,
strewing flower petals and chocolates. A number of kids greeted us with
"high-fives", something a bit difficult to accomplish while on a bicycle.
No new pictures today. (No electricity or computers in the tent . The cell
phone still works though.)
