Mi è arrivata questa richiesta, da parte di un gruppo tedesco che ha
intenzione di fare una carovana da Berlino a Baghdad, passando per
l'Italia (Venezia, Firenze, Roma, Napoli e Brindisi). C'è qualcuno
interessato a dar loro una mano?

translation is ready). As you see, we will pass through Italy. And we

little more for us and help us to organize contacts in our stopping

/A convoy for peace drives from Berlin to Baghdad/
For us, war is no means to solve conflicts. We are against the impending
inferno that would be the consequence of the war planned by U.S.
President George W. Bush and we want to set a clear mark, which can be
recognized on a satellite photograph.
We invite you all to travel with us to Baghdad for a peace festival.
*_DEPARTURE_*: Berlin/Germany, Saturday, 15th of March, 10 a.m. in the
Pergamon Museum in Berlin/Mitte at the Iraqi antiquities.
*_IDEA_**:* Our convoy starts in Berlin and drives on a fixed route
through Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Syria to the Iraq.
During the trip, more and more people will join in and form a long
convoy of cars, which cannot be missed, not even from Washington.
In Baghdad we will meet the friends of the initiative
Last-minute-to-Baghdad and Human Shields and we will celebrate a joint
*peace festival*.
An important aspect of our activity will be that press, radio and
television accompany our convoy.
*_ROUTE:_** *From Berlin via Leipzig, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich,
Innsbruck, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Brindisi, Igoumenitsa,
Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, Aleppo, Damascus, Amman (where
the peace festival might take place) to Baghdad (place of the peace
festival, if it will have been possible to prevent the war).
At different places on the way we will organize smaller peace festivals
with prominent persons.
The worldwide demonstrations on February 15 showed us that together we
can move things. We want to do more than to watch things happening on
TV. The more we are the better our chances.
Only action helps against the feeling of powerlessness.
