All,

An update to report that dmesg indicated that the known wifi network "authorization is no longer valid". I opened WiFi Settings selected the network looked at it's settings. I clicked on the "Security" tab and "show password". The password was correct, but re-entered it anyway. I rebooted and 4.22 final connected automatically.

Singificant here is the fact that immediately before the 4.22RC-1 -> 4.22 final automatic upgrade, the same Tails flash drive connected automatically at boot. After the upgrade, that flash drive would not connect due to network "authorization is no longer valid" error.

No sure what to make of this, but if no one else experiences this, it's a non-problem.
