First of all, let's just dismiss any potential for experiment mistakes
so, assuming you're running Tails from a USB stick: are you comparing
both versions running from identical sticks?
Regarding "the work with the live systems": can you please provide
a few detailed examples, so I understand better what triggers this
feeling of slowness? (I don't know if you measured it, but regardless:
feeling of slowness is just as important as actual slowness, as far as
user experience is concerned :)

It would be very useful for me to see more detailed hardware
specifications, so I can judge whether that's a sad, but unavoidable
consequence of shipping with some new technologies brought by Jessie,
or rather is caused by bugs that should be reported and,
ideally, fixed.
