Hi,
Many people mentioned, on one channel or another, their interest in
attending 32C3. This will probably be the biggest attendance of Tails as
a project there.
We started a small discussion on tails@??? about how to reimburse
people for their costs there. But we don't have any money specifically
allocated for this and we felt the need to have a bigger picture on who
wants to come and how much money people would spend before being able to
decide to which extend we should reimburse everybody.
When attending 32C3 you might spend money on:
- Travel
- Ticket (80-100€/person)
- Food & drinks
- Accommodation (if any)
To start with, we are not considering sponsoring any food and
accommodation. So you should self-organize these. But we want to at
least partially sponsor traveling and tickets.
So, in order for tails@??? to decide on a reimbursement policy,
could everybody who's planning to attend clarify:
- What you would be doing there on behalf of Tails (your mission).
- How much your travel would cost.
- Whether your attendance depends on the financial help that you
might get from the project.
- Whether you would accept financial help from the project in the
first place :)
