This branch installs the firmware loader for Qualcomm Gobi USB
chipsets that can be found in broadband mobile devices (e.g. the one
in the HP Mini and some ThinkPads, at least).
All that this package does is add udev rules to load firmware from
/lib/firmware/gobi (non-free, not in Debian) when a supported device
is plugged in, so is essentially a no-op for the vast majority of
people, but makes it easier for owners of such hardware to have
it supported.
I don't have the hardware, so could not fully test this, but at least
it does not look to break anything when the hardware is not present :)
