Autor: sajolida Data: A: The Tails public development discussion list Assumpte: [Tails-dev] Bug: stopping the persistence bootstraps renders the
USB stick unbootable
I was playing around with the persistence wizard and closed the windows
before the end of the bootstrap step, while it was doing mkfs.ext3. Then
I couldn't boot from that USB and had to reformat it and reinstall it. I
can reproduce the bug and of course, the same thing happen if you unplug
the USB instead of closing the wizard.
I didn't expect the persistence configuration to mess up with the
"bootability" of the stick. If this is not fixed in Tails 0.11, I will
mention in somewhere in the doc but for me that's a bug.
