LSE Fellowship in European Politics
Fixed term for 7 months
Salary up to: £28,762 pa incl (pro rata)
Applications are invited for a temporary LSE Fellowship in European Politics
for 7 months, commencing on 1 October 2008.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of European politics
in the Department of Government at the LSE. He or she will be expected to teach
in core areas of comparative European politics and European integration in the
Department's undergraduate and graduate programmes, in particular on the
MSc course on European Politics: Comparative Analysis and the undergraduate
course on Politics and Institutions in Europe. Successful candidates will also
be required to supervise students on the MSc in Politics and Government in the
European Union.
Candidates should have a strong research background in European politics and
should have relevant teaching experience. Candidates should also have completed
their PhD or be close to doing so before taking up the post.
