Since Monday, 12th of June 2006, Rene K. from Berlin,
who participated in the Parade for the Equality of
Sexualities, is on remand in a Warsaw prison.
Like many others from Berlin, Rene K. participated in
the Parade for the Equality of Sexualities in Warsaw
to demonstrate against homophobia and the exclusion of
sexual minorities. Rene K. was knocked down and
arrested by the police during the final manifestation
of speech. The prosecution authorities accuse him of
having resisted his arrest. The circumstances and
reasons for his arrest remain unexplained.
There is a solidarity campaign organizing a rally at
the Polish ambassy in Berlin taking place on Friday,
23rd of June, 3 pm (Lassnerstraße 19-21, Grunewald,
S-Bhf. Grundewald, by car M19 till Hasensprung).

spread the news widely and use possible contacts to
journalist and public persons, especially in Germany,
or Poland, to make the case known. It might be a good
idea to put pressure on the authorities in both

organize juridical defense and and juridical watch for
the trial.
