ore 14, presso i giardini di via Procaccini (zona ex Macello): un ricco
programma di iniziative per ribadire la matrice antifascista della

*LONG DONG SILVER
In 2002, 3 old friends, all musicians with in common a troubled past,
decide to get together and make a new start with a band that shall truly
represent them... One day Mick begins with a killer guitar riff, the
bass starts to pump and a mad voice sings:"Its so sweet, so fuckin’
sweet, kickin’ your head on the cold concrete": we all had the creeps,
Taste My Erection was born..And it was the right way to go.. The band
was named Long Dong Silver. After trying several drummers, they finally
choose the young and talented Carlo "The Hand Of Doom" and a few months
after, their first six song EP is released and it soon gets great
reviews and good responses from the public. At the same time the band
begins an intense live activity. The stage is the natural habitat of the
Long Dong Silver and all the people who see their first concerts remain
very impressed by the fury, energy and extremeness of their shows. Real
blood on stage.. The news soon is spread and people begin to hear words
such as: "true rock’n’roll attitude", "stage animals" and of course a
madness...the Rock Madness..!! In 2004 the band goes to the studio to
record 3 new songs, of which 2 are used for a split 7"record with US
band FILTHY JIM and one for the compilation "The Foreign Object", both
published by the label Scarey Records, property of their friend Carlo
"Donkey Dick". In 2005 the band and The Hand Of Doom divorce and he is
replaced by Memento, a weird figure, old friend of the band and
obviously a great drummer. In spring the so called Rock Madness leaves
for a long European tour together with the American friends TORG and THE
SUPERMEN. For this adventure at the drums there is the fatrocker Mone
from THE LEECHES. Today Long Dong Silver, with Memento once again at the
drums, has yet completed the new, brainhurting full-lenght studio LP,
that will come out soon. Rock Madness is back to kick everyone’s ass. In
the meanwhile its components’ strange lives go on: Mick, always
afflicted by his peaks of euphoria and depression, Caligula, hurting
himself now and then and changing his body to be more purified, Mickey,
always hiding in the obscure, and Memento, who’s still tryin’ to
remember his real name..
*THE LEECHES
The Leeches are born in Como in the beginning of 2002 when, after
several groups (Orange juice from the crypt, Class 78, the Cretins) and
varies years of bangings demos and 7", we have decided to joinus in a
band sharing the passion for food and for the punk rock genuine and not
standardized.The group is formed from Mass(bass and voice),
Messicano(guitar )e Mone (drums and snacks), lately sound with us also
Freddy (guitar).The basic idea is to amuse itself producing something of
bond, to play a lot, to eat a lot and to findown road in the crowded
panorama of punk rock.Possiblyattending to music.Music exactly, trying
not to copy nobody but takin inspirations from, D.I, Angry samoans,
Adolescents, G.G allin… from the punk rock of the origins to those
furious years of California’s80.Having to describe they said to us that
we have a Rought sound, fast, vulgar and powerful with unexpected
melodic hook.Something of red, like the blood and the love and yellow
like fried potatoes.Punk rock, sure, even if defiladed and not too much
online with how much I see in turn today.In 2003 we put out, a cd split
with the Good ol’ boys (punk’ n’ roll from Milan),thatcontains 5 songs,
always punk rock old school without too many blah blah.In December 2004
we put out ours first 45with three short but intense pieces of punk rock
primitive and gross, recorded well but not patinated.Beyond to this we
have participated to some compilations and played in Italy and
Switzerland. From the concerts we have obtained nearly always a good
reply, not as well as in order goodness knows which technical abilities,
how much for the good will, the energy and perhaps for the fact that the
fat people make sympathy.In summer-autumn 2005 we have recorded our
first full lengh, 11pieces full of sweat and madness, leaving from the
rough oneof "gorilla rock" in order arriving to the crazyand bloody
"Jesus loves the Leeches".We have give birth in the summer of 2005,in a
recording studio of Lecco and we are satisfying of the result that task
represents to us well.The cd will exit in February 2006 for the Nextpunk
Records of Lugano.After this publication we have in several program
concerts and miniums-tour in order to promote the disc, to amuse to us
and to amuse!
